His career includes impactful tenures at Liberty Life, FIS, Sanlam, and Old Mutual—organisations where he led mission-critical projects to streamline operations, modernise legacy platforms, and implement scalable solutions across insurance value chains.
In his new role, Deon will head up Amidel’s Insurance Administration Solutions division, bringing sharper focus and greater technical depth to a key area of our business. We are looking to employ a number of people in the Compass space as we look to strengthen our capability in this area. One of our key focus areas is to develop tools or utilities that enable us to modify information or run processes across multiple policies or business rules to significantly reduce the risk of performing these tasks manually on a policy-by-policy basis on the Compass platform.”
