We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Quantitative Analyst to join our team, specializing in quantitative solutions for investment banks and other financial clients. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong educational background in a quantitative field and at least 5 years of experience in a similar role within the banking sector. Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities differ across client engagements but may include:
- Collaborate with client partners to define detailed business requirements for quantitative models and solutions.
- Assist in developing and validating pricing models for complex financial instruments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Contribute to the enhancement and optimization of existing algorithms, tools, and analytical frameworks.
- Participate in research initiatives to identify innovative quantitative methodologies that enhance trading performance and risk management strategies.
- Develop and maintain software tools for quantitative analysis, model implementation, and data visualization.
- Engage with cross-functional teams to provide insights on trading portfolios and risk exposure.
Competencies
- Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and trading concepts.
- Proficiency in programming languages C# and Python is an added advantage.
- Solid mathematical foundation including calculus, linear algebra, probability theory, and statistics.
- Knowledge of derivative pricing models, stochastic calculus, and risk management concepts.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a keen analytical mindset.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling clear communication of complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and familiarity with agile development methodologies is a positive.
